8:15am-9:15am- Check In- Pick up Bib number, t-shirt, and team assignments.
- Warm up on your own. Ready to run bases and throw by 9:30am.
9:30am-11:00am- Run bases, overhand radar throw, infield/outfield
11:00am-11:30am- BREAK
11:30am-2:00pm- Game Play with assigned showcase teams. Teams will be posted at the field.
- 3 teams per field. 6 batters per ½ inning. Pitchers radar and catchers pop time will be recorded during game play.
2:00pm-2:30pm- College Placement Talk
2:30pm-4:00pm- Open House, Exit talks, time to chat with college coaches.
Event Format:
Each participant will run through specific skills stations that will be measured by our staff and college coaches in the morning. In the afternoon participants will be placed on a team based on their position. Teams will play 1-2 games and will be coached by college coaches. Age Cutoff Date: Entry Deadline:

History
In 2008, we had 150 participants and 30 college coaches in attendance. This is one of the most intimate experiences that players will have with college coaches, prior to attending college. It will continue to be held on the Sunday following the Colorado High School State Championships. This year for the first time we will accept registrations from sophomores.
For the past eight years Triple Crown Sports has run the Triple Crown Sparkler, one of the most successful college showcase tournaments in the country. In 2005 we introduced our Showcase All-Star Games to the Colorado Sparkler event and had great success providing players one more chance to play in front of college coaches. We have also run the Mountain Magic Fastpitch Camp for the past 13 years. This camp is run by college coaches in a clinic/game format. It is our goal with the 2009 Colorado/Rocky Mountain Showcase to provide our regional players another opportunity to expose their talents to the local college coaches who will be in town for the high school state tournament.
